Tracy Blake DeVlieger

Tracy joined Gadsden Schneider & Woodward LLP in September 2004 as counsel and became a partner on January 1, 2006.

Prior to joining the firm, Tracy was a partner and chair of the Estates and Trusts department of the West Chester-based firm of Lamb McErlane, P.C., which she joined as an associate in 1991 after having practiced with the law firm of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis in Philadelphia. She also served a clerkship with the Honorable Raymond J. Broderick of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania following her graduation from law school. Tracy received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1981 and her J.D., cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 1984.

Tracy’s practice focuses on sophisticated estate planning for wealthy individuals, estate and trust administration, charitable gift planning and fiduciary law. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Tracy currently serves as co-chair of the Estate and Gift Tax Committee of the Income and Transfer Tax Planning Group of the Section on Real Property, Trust and Estate Law of the American Bar Association. She was a 2007 Chancellor’s Appointee to the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association Section on Probate and Trust Law and served as a Director of the ARC Community Trust of Southeastern Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2011.


Tracy is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is a member of the Pennsylvania, Chester County and Philadelphia Bar Associations. Tracy has written and lectured on a variety of trust and estate planning and administration topics at the state and national level.
